New York Yankees Win 2009 World Series

At the time of writing this it is the bottom of the 8th inning with the Yankees leading 7-3, now unless the Phillies do something amazing in the next inning you can pretty say game over. Now I’ll be honest and say that I have not watched the full game, mainly because I am not a Yankee fan or even of the Phillies for that matter, but hey this is news worth blogging about so why not. If anything I can say that I am happy for ARod, if the Yankees do pull this off and win then the monkey will finally be lifted off of ARod’s back. I only say this because he was clearly in it for the money after he left Seattle, but who in their right mind would turn down over 200 mil.

Anyway I just wanted to post this just for the heck of it, I really don’t like the Yankees, as a matter of fact I can’t stand them, however I still like to give credit where credit is due. After all they do have more titles than any other team in the game and they are clearly the most aggressive when it comes to spending, so for that I guess I’ll go ahead and tip my ball cap to them.
