Microsoft Buys Skype

Now here is some interesting news. Microsoft has just purchased Skype for $8.5 billion, in an all-cash deal. There are some mixed feelings about this deal but I think it is a good move by Microsoft. Why let Google continue to buy up everything. It will be interesting to see what Microsoft does with the software, hopefully they wont just tear it apart and destroy what is already a good thing.
