Google vs. Microsoft: Ignite Seattle 8

Tuesday night Peter Wilson gave a 5 minute presentation on the battle between Google and Microsoft during Ignite Seattle 8. Peter says that Microsoft has focused more on platforms while Google has focused more on applications. He says that Microsoft is trying to catch up to Google in the app race since they have such a large lead.

I find this to be an interesting battle, Microsoft has been on top for awhile and Google is still growing at a pretty fast rate. I guess the main question is “Can both companies come out on the winning side”? We’ll be keeping an eye on this race and can’t wait to see how things play out in the future.
