Fastest Indexing Time In Google
I’m not much a bragger when it comes to my own rankings or even the rankings of my clients, I guess it is because I expect the sites to do well once I start working on them so it’s really no big deal to me. Over the past few weeks I have been working on getting some of the articles I post on this site indexed faster in google and things have been working out just fine. I’ve always managed to get them indexed in less than hour, usually in about 5 minutes. I recently wrote an article to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving 2009 for this year and to my amazement the page was indexed in just 2 minutes. Now I know that some have had faster results then this but this is the first time for me so I am kinda of proud of it.
I’m pretty sure that the page was indexed faster than that but the problem for me is getting to the results in a timely manner, normally I just do a search for site:www.onlinemarketingadvisors.com and if the number of indexed pages has gone up then I know that google has already cached and indexed the page. My guess is that there is a faster way to find out but I don’t know what that is. I’ll attempt to break my own record with this article but I’ll need to be quick when checking the results from the time I hit the publish button, my guess is around 3 minutes because the update time seems to be a little slow on my end but we’ll see what happens.
I’ve provided a screen shot for the non believers and the screen shot has not been tampered with in any fashion except in file size. If you are reading this article when I first launched it then do a search for site:www.onlinemarketingadvisors.com and look for the name of this article, you should see a time stamp to how long ago it was posted. Just my luck though google will embarrass me and not even index the page, but oh well, I already know that for the most part our articles are indexed pretty quickly so if they decide to make me look like a fool on this one then so be it. You will find the screen shot for happy thanksgiving below. As always, thanks for reading and may the serps be with you.
A quick update for this page today, it was updated in 3 minutes, not the record but still pretty good. Screen shot below.
